Guys, I really need help deciding on back protection

Hi guys,

Baiscaly im torn between gelaskin or the carbon back from SGP..

The carbon is thicker then the gelaskin correct? So for protection get carbon but for looks possibly get a gelaskin? Is that a fair assessment?..

I woudlnt mind just a screen protector but im only using a bumper, so I would like a bit more..

Are the carbon fibers on other sites the same as the ones offered o SGP? Same 3M quality so would it really matter?

Well i think that carbon skin looks awesome. Just get which ever one you think looks the best. No point getting a case that you hate, it will make you hate looking at your phone.

if you're gonna get the carbon just get one from ebay or something for like an 1/8th the price of SGP...its all the same 3M stuff anyways...dont pay for a name

Thanks Steve, and thats true...the carbo nis thicker than the gelaskin correct? Otherwise the skin would give you more versatility....

The 3M offers good protection, but not too thick to interfere with the bumper. If you're using a bumper, you don't need the SGP sides.
