Guys if i downgrade from 4.2.1 do i keep baseband ?

So guys i used tinyumbrella and stuff to upgrade to 4.2.1 and keep my 1.59 baseband..I don't like this tethered jailbreak, can I downgrade with tinyumbrella to 4.1 and keep my baseband?

Well if you have 4.2b3 SHSH blob, you can get untethered.

I don't have the blobs that was what got me frustrated. Ultrasnow sometimes acts up and u have to restart so tethered is just not working.

Provided you don't update your modem firmware in the first place, yes. Downgrading firmware doesn't downgrade the modem firmware.

Tinyumbrella should keep the baseband, but to be sure, I would go custom 4.1 firmware (one that keeps the baseband).

Yes, like Myzhi said use a custom ipsw or make sure you run TU tss server while you restore to official 4.1 again.
