Guys, tomorrow is the day!!!

Dudes,

Please don't panic!! Tomorrow is the day that the majority of us will receive shipping information. How you ask? Simple.

1. The Apple Store App says "Preparing for Shipment"

2. When searching by Reference on UPS.com, it locates nothing.

So how do I know? well, I've been lucky enough to get a UPS MyChoice notification. Take a look at the image below.

That's right, these guys haven't even shipped yet and they won't until tomorrow. We'll get shipping notifications tomorrow and the alerts from the Apple Store that they are on their way. Again, I would be in the same boat as you, I just got lucky with MyChoice and know that it's going to ship tomorrow and deliver Friday, but other than that I HAVE NO OTHER INCLINATION OF THAT.

1. NO alert from the Apple Store
2. NO tracking info from UPS even when searching for the reference numbers the tracking page gives me.
3. UPS is doing them via UPS Next Day Air Saver. They'll ship tomorrow and arrive Friday. So enjoy the wait and the watch!

Thanks for your tracking number I'm now going to reroute it.
 
On the phone right now with UPS and your tracking number. asking them to deliver to a different address.

Solely based on first hand experience with my last dozen or so launch day pre-orders over a three year period, there's more variables, official or not, that affect arrival of one's order.

I've had over six of my most recent orders arrive at the local airport the day before launch. Be held overnight and arrive at my door before 10 AM launch day, and I still had not received a shipped notice...until the day AFTER my iPhone or Laptop arrived. An interesting phenomenon that may be due to the extremely high volume of orders.

I'm not going to go on and on with other unique experiences other than to mention that no matter the email communications, I've always received my order on launch day.

Regarding my Watch, charged and preparing currently, now that I've shared my experiences I've surely jinxed it.

It'll probably arrive late summer...LOL . :eek:

I've had the SAME thing happen to me with many orders from Apple, even those not on launch day. Definitely a quirk of ordering from them.
 
I've been reading this forum for the past hour and this is
literally the most ridiculous thread I've come across. Who cares if you get a "shipping notification" if you have a tracking screen showing a Friday delivery?
