    Hey,
Guys with the retina macbook pro do you use a screen protector? A keyboard guard? Are any of them necessary? What do you do to protect your screen as its too fragile, have any of ull developed imprints from the keyboard on to the screen?

It's not an iPhone so no need to go bonkers trying to protect it. Best when naked

    Guys with retina macbook pro

I have a shell on it and a cheap-o keyboard guard on mine because when I had a cat she had a habit of sleeping on my laptop and laptop cases (closed, of course) and I wanted to reduce the amount of hair in my MacBook.

I find the keyboard guard may keep the keys clean but it transfers the oils from your fingers onto the screen so it's like protecting one thing at the expense of another. Luckily I have a ton of microfiber cloths around.

Screen protectors are worthless and could damage anti-glare coating.

Keyboard protection is also pointless. You can only damage your retina display with it.

The best protection is being cautious.
