I am struggling to work out how I can view the .gwi I have been sent by a colleague.

Google has failed me. Can someone advise?

I googled "What kind of file is .gwi" and got a lot of relevant links. From the first:
Novell GroupWise file. GWI is a database shortcut file format used by GroupWise. GWI files contain pointers to GroupWise database files, and may include a user ID, version, item type, message ID, or folder path.
