Anyone know why there seems to be no H.264 content on the internet - or at least I fail to find any by searching in Google. I mean if it's such a great format and great for streaming why can't I find any streaming H.264 internet TV stations or anything like that? And the only place I can find downloadable clips is Apple's Quicktime site.

As I said in my original post... the QuickTime HD Gallery is just about the only H.264 content that I can find on the web. I'm looking for like an IPTV type of thing where I can watch news, shows, etc, in H.264 over the internet.

Yeah, I'd rather like some lower rez H.264 content that doesn't make my year old Powerbook squeal like a piggy. You know, just because.

I'm going to be re-encoding the few videos I host on my website down to H.264 from their original DV this evening, I'll post a link when I get them updated.
