the new H265 Codec is comming soon. For Videos in 4K Resolution!

I believe it's already here. People have been using it for a while.

It's not native to OSX. At least, I haven't been able to view my videos shot using that format on my Mac running the latest version of OSX.

While it's true that it's not native to OS X, it has been out for some time. I do know some of the higher-end Samsung TV's are able to play H265 natively.
