Imagine FM just announced that Wayne Rooney will be playing two games for Stockport County next season under a new Premiership initiative to give top flight stars an idea of life in the lower leagues.

Also announced:- Rio Ferdinand will be on loan to Rochdale, Ryan Giggs at Bury and Paul Scholes at Macclesfield
