If I learned anything today, its the fact that almost all leakers are BS'ers.

They were all like "no M2 till 2023", MBA impossible in WWDC, Mac Pro 100% in WWDC, fake white bezel MBA leaks... etc.

Not sure why it would be weird considering they did that on the iMac.
I didn't say that. I said would be weird if they were white with a notch. When 100% accurate Ross Young said the display would be 13.6", it was obvious it was going to have a notch.

I don't think JUST a white bezel OR white bezel + white notch would be weird.

White bezel à la iMac, fine. With bezel with notch, however, not great.

Some people think the white bezel on the iMac is "not great" either (in fact, some were so heated about it, it made me envious of what an easy life they must have to get so incensed about such a minor, inconsequential thing). So while we obviously disagree on the aesthetic aspect of white bezel + notch (I actually couldn't care less either way), I don't think suggesting Apple might've done that is "weird" considering they did something some people also hated on the iMac.

A lot of people have a lot of time on their hands. First world problems which will evaporate if Putin launches nukes or China takes over Taiwan.

They put a notch on the MacBook Air M2 2022 model though, but thankfully no white bezel.

No white bezel or keyboard. In fact it is darker on all the surfaces facing the user. Excellent. :)

Apple almost certainly has different styles and colors they test before choosing what the final shipping models are and some of those tests evidently are leaked.

Jon Prosser is on record as having seen a MacBook Air in blue with a white bezel and keyboard so Apple very likely tested a model in that color combination. He reported it and everyone else jumped on the bandwagon and soon it became "established" that the M2 MacBook Air would come in multiple colors and have white bezels and keyboards.
