Just thought I'd share this...Earlier today, Windows XP was dominating my site, that is, my visitors were primarily using it. OSX was in second place, followed by linux. When I checked a couple minutes ago, 48% of my visitors used OSX, 47% XP, 4% Linux, and 1% Win. 98. Most mac users got there from my advertising on these forums... 😀 . Even though my site is mainly used by macs, I'm still keeping my gamma at 2.2 for 'em windows users, just in case they resurface...

Anyhow, this thread has no point other than for me to share my joy of mac ruling my website statistics ( 😕 --it's 2am here and I've been working on photos for awhile...)...But to give it some direction 😉 , why don't we all list off our visitor stats? How many of your visitors use windows, mac, linux, and what screen resolutions? I feel like such a dork...but hey, it's late (or early, depending on how you look at it), and I can do whatever I want because I'm an individual and an American at that! 😕 😛

Out of 249 visitors since May 13, 2005:

57%-1024x768
19%-1280x1024
11%-800x600
7%-unknown
6%-1152x864

Only respond if your intelligence drops by 100 pts after midnight 😀

Lucky you! I only get about 2% Mac hits to my website, normally bringing 30 thousand people a month, so only 600 people a month are on Macs.

Saying that my website looks best on Windows IE!😛

My website (sells Mac shareware) is 56% OS X, 37% Windows and 7% other. I really wonder what that other is.

In terms of browsers Safari is 47%, Internet Explorer is 32% and Firefox is 13%. OmniWeb is 0.2% and Camino is 0.4%. There is also a large quantity of other.

Other is probably an agregate of Linux and various search bots. What does the Google search bot show up as (in terms of OS)? I know Google runs a customised version of Linux.

On my server I don't think it is counted in the OS's that view my page. There is a 'spiders that have visited your page' section and I've seen google there before.
