hacked T-mobile internet service slow....

Hi,
I have a t-mobile service, 3G 16GB i-phone V3.0. Hacked and Jail broken. Safari is so slow I'm wondering if there is something wrong with phone or do I need to go back and check with t-mobile. Phone and E-mail works well, no problems with other functions. Any thoughts??

You are expecting much from a 3G iPhone on T-Mobile. The iPhone is not compatible with T-Mobiles 3G service so all you can use is edge.

Thanks for the reply. Not sure what "edge" means. Is this an app? a setting change? 6 more months before my contract expires......... at least this is a "learning" experience.

EDGE means slow 2G cell phone internet speed. The iPhone 3G can use faster 3G internet on AT&T, but can run only the slower EDGE network on Tmobile.
