It risked becoming a golden key without requiring much effort once it was provided even for "one-time use". And apparently now Cellebrite has inadvertently created a golden key for 5C hacking by virtue of its tools having been hacked. Which was what Cook was saying, and which makes Cook correct, no matter what the FBI wanted to call what it was asking for: an easy way in.
No, Cook did not simply call the tool "an easy way in." He called it a backdoor when he gave his statement: "They have asked us to build a backdoor to the iPhone." This is not a backdoor. The security flaw (whether it's backdoor or not) is already there, and the FBI wants a tool to exploit it.

Since there should be no assumption of trust when it comes to computer security, the security community generally victim-blames, i.e. they'd blame Apple for creating the flaw rather than Cellebrite for finding it.

Cellebrites goal is to hack phones... why is this good the hacker leaked their info ?

If it was a hacker who released all our passwords instead we'd be *** ourslves..

ya, like this is any better either.. Could this mean *any one* could now do the dirty work on iPhones? and we are praising this ? I though we wanted security on iOS... or am I missing something?

Well he nailed something :D

Even that won't work as the third person will spill the beans out of remorse. Gotta kill all three, and hope no one left a diary.

Probably would post it on You Tube asking people to subscribe to that channel or "share" everything on Facebook:)

How does the SE look worse or better than a 5 given that it's basically the same (short of the slate color option essentially).
The matt chamfered bits. I didn't say it looked a LOT worse, just subtly worse. Worse, in this case, meaning less nice, obviously! :)
