Yes, but they haven't been hacked, unlike Vista.
You're totally right. The measures that Apple implemented to prevent OS X from being installed on a standard PC are so weak that you can't really call that hacking/cracking...

But if the salesman says and it runs Vista and the average person watches their news... They won't want to jump on that computer.

This is pretty funny, +1 for Leopard 10.5
No kidding. $160 for Home Premium, and that's just the upgrade. $250 for Ultimate (upgrade; full version $400It has everything to do with the fact that the pricing of Microsoft's OS has become increasingly expensive over the years.
Wouldn't it be the other way around, means there's a "backup plan" in place in case you can't activate for whatever reason.and for ppl who are savvy about computer, it's not like just because vista's activation process's been compromised they'd think twice about vista if they were to get it
It has nothing to do with Microsoft having enemies.
It has everything to do with the fact that the pricing of Microsoft's OS has become increasingly expensive over the years.
Let's not forget that Apple makes the bulk of its profits selling hardware as opposed to Microsoft who make most of their money selling software. In order to run Leopard, legal or illegally, you're going to need an Apple computer. Vista can be run on any PC clone.
What was I getting at? Oh yeah ...
A hacked copy of Vista is going to hurt Microsoft a lot more than a hacked copy of Leopard would hurt Apple.
The price may play a part, however its not a mystery that people dislike Microsoft.
Is this were I bring up the amount of Apple's that come into our Service Center? Not to mention I have to get a two button mouse to sort my links in FireFox because you can't use Ctrl<Click or Command<Click to get to the Context menu. Even though you can sort by name in the BookMarks Manager it won't sort the ones in the Tool Bar Folders.
You can't even sort by name in Safari even if you could Right Click as you do as an after thought on the PC. Want to guess how many calls I get a day of people asking me if X,Y,Z software, peripherals will work on an Apple?
Wrong topic. What does your post has to do with anything. And still the same old stupid right click.. Get a PC and right click all day and night.
