Tyler, from the Mac itself.

So you linked your phone to your Mac using the USB cable, opened iTunes, chose the phone, and clicked "Restore" and did NOT restore from a backup?

Then I have no idea what else to tell you. What you're describing isn't really possible, especially if you've done that.

Then it must be all in my head like the genius analyst said above.
Anyway thanks for trying to help.

People are starting to get dickish because these threads pop up daily. Literally daily. Along with the daily "Someone is controlling my mac!" threads. .....

- You aren't using an OEM iphone - and are using some ripoff from from an Asia sweatshop. This also happens a lot. People see some great deal online, buy it, and they are actually getting some crappy ripoff that is bugged with the nasties.

I am NOT implying that the OP bought a Chinese knockoff but if he did do that, then ya, he is basically screwed. It is surprising how many fake iphones are sold on ebay and people buy them.

I didn't buy a chinese knock off. I bought from effing phone from the Mac store.
I'm also a she and not a he.

Ok - so bring it back to the mac store and show them what is happening. Or goto the cops.

Otherwise, I think this thread is about done....

Only thing you can do is contact the police if this is truly happening. If you know who is stalking you then report him/her. It's not that difficult. Now controlling a device to which no software has been installed sounds impossible.

Sounds more like somebody got a hold of your Apple ID and is using your iCloud account. Change your password and turn off any iCloud syncing and Find My iPhone. Make sure that your contacts, calendars, etc. are all syncing locally and not to iCloud. Then back up your phone to iTunes, and restore your phone.
This. ^^

Who were/are you sharing an Apple ID with?

I had a screen replaced on an iPad mini & it started doing things "by itself" like changing the from a subsequent homepage back to the first home page.
It was a bad screen positioning that caused it. The iPad was registering screen taps that were not real due to a bad screen positioning.....a further replacement screen fixed the issue.

Just to ensure the phone is restored properly, make an appointment with the Genius Bar and ask them to do a clean restore without backup. Don't bother getting into the why you think you're being spied on.

They control the device. They can turn off apps. They can change the music. They can disconnect the service. They can scroll the screen while I'm reading stuff and so on. I just want to know if there's an antivirus or anything to put on this thing cuz I'm really tired of this crap and I want a quick solution.

Some of this could also be explained by moving the iPhone while it's doing things. There is/was a 'Shake to Shuffle' feature which changed the song if the iPhone was shaken. There is also the Parallax feature that made a bunch of people seasick. Not that I'm trying to dismiss your issues because it would definitely freak my poop too, especially being a woman with all the stalker BS going on, but you may have to do some time in Settings just to make sure that there isn't anything set there.

Has the service actually been discontinued? Do you have an ex, or a person that might have been close to you? Have you been checking your credit card statements? This world has gotten a whole lot more bizarre and it's gotten a whole lot easier to screw with someone's life.

Oh, have you traveled internationally recently? Had anyone 'check your phone' and connect it to any device? To me, it sounds like someone might have cloned your phone, but I'd think that a restore might fix that... Not sure on that.

Looks like the OP disappeared. Maybe it was...

help

:( i experienced the same scenario. a close friend of mine asked me , what if she can read all my texts , what should i do. i answered her "it's ok with me " because she didn't even touch my phone , not even once, and my iphone is not jailbroken. She used her android phone and let me enter ng phone number. and in a couple of minutes, i've seen my messages. and every time i send or received messages, she also got it at her phone. Btw, she's using a software she refuse to let me know. She invaded my privacy . ;x .. any idea guys how is that possible? im very sure she didnt know anything about my app id etc.

Anyone correct me if I'm wrong, but you gave her permission, therefore it's not invasion of privacy...?

They can read my messages to other people, they can see me setting alarms and doing anything so I'm assuming there's a mirroring device that is reflecting what I'm doing somewhere else.

I think you are suffering paranoia!

Explain why you think people can see you setting alarms, you are not making any sense.

Maybe if you just sleep for a while, wake up and see if you feel different!

can i suggest you turn on airplane mode and make sure wifi and bluetooth are really off.
Then see if it still happens.
If it does then no one is hacking it as they have no possibility to get a connection to it.

I don't believe this if both phones were on 3G with wifi off and the other phone was an iPhone. Far fetched and IMO Not very possible android software exists that can hack an iPhone on a 3G network. Now on a compromised wifi network maybe some mitm attack...maybe.

I know this activity is seen by many others as paranoia and impossible. However, my wife's android was hacked and for about year I thought well, you've managed to infect the phone with a virus or malware that has allowed someone to actively control your phone. So, several resets, password changes, phone number changes, and SIM card changouts later all done to restore the phone to "factory setting" all resulted in continued hacker abuse.

Tired of the menacing intrusion we went for an iPhone 5c and within just one week they had the new iPhone hacked too. We've done several resets with no backup and still cannot get rid of the intrusion. Changed all passwords and have not yet been able to defeat whomever is capturing the device. Verizon say's well we can't do anything about it and Apple says impossible!

The Verizon rep said that we weren't alone as several other subscribers have also complained of hacker activity on their devices. We're on a 4g network. So, there must be a highly popular and known to all except us underground method of capturing these devices and no way to stop them? The police say ho hum ya' don't say, regarding phone intruders!

The only thing that really works is to just power the device off. My next solution is going to involve a twenty pound sledge hammer.

This sounds like uneducated FUD from someone who doesn't understand how these things work. Like the kind of people who blame all their computer issues on "viruses".
