Today I had my faulty iPhone replaced for a new one at the Apple store. Does this mean that now I have got another 1 year warranty from the date I got the replacement (so it will end on 26 July 2012), or will it be the date I originally bought it?

The remainder of your existing warranty or 90 days, whichever is greater.
Stupid question, but could you buy an extended warranty (applecare) for the replacement?
only if you didn't buy apple care for the original.
here's a scenario
- warranty expires August 15
- i go into the Apple Store on the 14th and i get the phone replaced
- now i have warranty until September 14th
- do i now have until September 14th to extend the warranty?
It probably took you longer to create this thread then it would to read the your Apple work order stating that your warranty is not modified.
