haha n00b question (will jailbreak be broken?)

i have a jailbroken 2.01 iphone 3g, can i update to 2.02 without problems or 2.1 on friday, or will it screw with the jailbreak?
 
so everything will go to how the 2.1 update is, and everything from my jailbreak will be gone?
