See, this is why I love these forums. On what other forum that is centered around computers/Macs can you have a civilized discussion about the removal of pubic hair?

keep the front neatly trimmed but not bald

men with no pubic hair are a little freaky looking. unless they strippers or ballet dancers.

That said, my experiences might be slightly different since I'm a woman.

In terms of what I'd prefer looks-wise on a man? Trimmed.
I don't even like the hairless look on women (though I think it feels so much nicer-- when it's waxed).

I am thinking about trying the Nair, I may try it this weekend. Ummm, when I get in shape, I plain on taking ballet!

The waxing, as I am sure it will look and feel nicer. I am still afraid it will hurt like hell...

Nair is good, but don't leave it on for too long. Depilatory cream burns the hair off.

Have you ever tried shaving with the grain of hair? Instead of against it? No itches or bumps that way...
