During the development of Half-Life, a version for PowerPC was made. The version was nearly done then was scrapped due to demand being low. Leaving us, PPC users, in the cold.

Half-Life was created on the GoldSrc engine which is a heavily modified version of Quake. The keyword here is "Quake".

Quake is supported on the PPC platform in different engines(Darkplaces,FuhQuake, etc)

After hours of experimenting, I got something.

Its a pretty buggy state, but hey, its something.

What did you do to make it work?

That's great! So could you post this up, or is it still copyright?

I was just playing open arena on my powerbook.

Hard to explain, the first post has the version I put together which is very messy/buggy.

Half-Life and Quake are both for sale still so I assume there is copyright. I will release instructions soon.

Update

I took the PSP version and that ran way better than the version I put together. I am gonna focus on using that. I also used QuakeSpasm instead of FuhQuake which is nicer.
