Well there was this one time (on a pretty heavy dose of LSD) that I saw a glow-in-the-dark poster if Jimi Hendrix melt off the wall and collect into a puddle on the floor. Another time on "magic" mushrooms I have seen the waves at the ocean (from a pretty large storm) do some pretty crazy stuff. I've seen a friend's face (who was standing right in front of me) vanish like sand being blown off by the wind. I've done ink drawings where I could see the pen tip riding on a rail over a void instead of on paper. I've watched a trail off my bowling ball extend the entire length of the lane to the point where I could clearly see the arced path the ball took.

Other times after extended periods of no sleep I have seen the flickers of movement on the periphery of my vision that are typical in that situation.

But I always knew my hallucinations were of the induced variety, and that I would subsequently return to reality.

Sure -

I see things all the time when I get the aura stage of my migraines.
Yup. Mostly mine is just "floaters" in front of my eyes and jagged flashes of light.

But I do have a tendency to see things in my peripheral vision incorrectly, especially when I am driving at night. It is usually a fire hydrant or something, but I have had instances when I panicked because I thought it was a child standing by the road or something.
