Hi,

I finally broke down and bought Northern Exposure DVD-season (2)

I want to rip it for back up, so I can just have the individual episodes in .avi or mpeg4 or whatever. It's a DVD9 DL, DVD so I can't just do the MTR>Toast DVD backup, because it will be heavily compressed (i have no dl burner yet). How would I go about ripping the individual episodes in high quality with handbrake or any other App?

Thanks in advance.

I rip mine as H264s at 2500kbps and they look about as good as the DVD.

Cool, I needed to know a good setting to maintain quality, but is there something I need to do to strip the individual Episodes one by one off the DVD?

I haven't used handbrake in a long time..
