Is there no way to output a file to stereo which has a source that is only mono? Can Handbrake not do this? I'm only given the option for Mono and I assume adding two mono tracks will not create a stereo track. Is there something else I could use which would easily do this?

thanks

Handbrake has no problem doing stereo. What is your source? Did you rip the DVD and running Handbrake on that, or is it from something else? Remember, some ripping programs will strip out some audio and such; I don't recommend those at all. Do a full image of the disc and work from there.

Good luck.

I've used a number of different rippers including Handbrake. If the original disc or disc image is MONO what do I do in terms of encoding to create a stereo track instead?
