Handbrake Crashing

I ripped one of my DVDs my cousin sent me and whenever I try to open it to encode it to Mp4 so I can stream it to my 360 it crashes.

Any idea of what's going on?

If it makes any difference since it's from the UK it's in PAL format.

Try ripping with MacTheRipper and then use Handbrake on that.

Otherwise submit it as a bug report with the handbrake project.

I tried it on another PAL DVD and it worked fine. Maybe it's just the file?

Agreed. Make sure the bug is reproducible, and submit it to Handbrake if so. The latest version they released publicly was a beta, so some bugs are expected, and the more reports the get, the more bugs they fix.

Mac the Ripper and Handbrake are crashing on all my PAL DVDs,

any help? 🙁

Are MTR and Handbrake both crashing?

That points to your DVD drive being at fault 😉.
