trying to rip a dvd onto my macbook, when its serching for titles, it cant find any and wont let me rip the dvd. what do i do?

Okay, señor no details... ;) Which version of Handbrake? And does this happen to one specific DVD or to all DVDs? If it's one specific DVD you might try MacTheRipper instead.....

I've been happier with MacTheRipper. Then use VisualHub (or iSquint, if you don't need all the extra conversions) to rip to iPod, or whatever.

i DIDNT know that mactheripper existed before now, and it works perfectly...
why wouldnt handbrake do it and mactheripper do it?? all a bit odd to me

hmm, still have problems... i ripped the whole thing with mactheripper. i have a folder on the desctop containing 3 more folders, AUDIO_TS, JACKET_P and VIDEO_TS
there is no actual mpge file or anything.... i tried to import to iSquint to convert, but it does nothing.
did i rip the dvd wrong? or is there something else that i need to do to get the freekin movie!?!?!
