So whats the better of these 2 programs for importing video to your computer/iMovie from DVDs?
thanx

Ok, so I have a DVD with some bonus feature shorts that I'd like to get into iMovie to try some editing. What would be the best way to do that?

So you're saying MpegStreamClip can actually import the video from the DVD? I had thought it was for converting existing files on your computer to different formats.

I've tried to d/l Mactheripper but it keeps saying the link doesn't exist.

K, I've given up on the Mactheripper link. MPEG Streamclip seems to do the trick. I'll try exporting for iMovie. Anyone know what the best format would be to edit with in iMovie? I'm pretty sure I've read MPEG-2 or .MOV are best but they're not options in the program. Looks like Quicktime, MPEG-4 and AVI are the choices I recognize. The quality is stuck on 50% for some reason...I'd like to move it up.
