Had a few minutes to spare and thought I would make a charging base for my new Apple Watch. Steps below: 1. I found a nice small block of red cedar I had lying around. 2. Drilled a hole in middle with 1" wood spade drill bit. 3. Using a whittling knife, I enlarged the hole slightly till the charger fit snugly. I also only drilled deep enough so that the charger would be about 1/2 recessed into the hole. I wanted 1/2 above for the watch to sit on. 4. I wittled out a nice channel for the cable to fit into. 5. Sanded the edges and inside the hole and channel, and voila! I plan on putting non-skid bumpers on the base so it doesn't slide around.
