I've tried looking for a thread on this but can't find one. Just on episode three and I'm enthralled/shocked/angry/sad. All emotions made worse by the fact it seems so real.

Anybody else watched/watching it and what are your thoughts?

I haven't seen any of the series, but the book (The Handmaid's Tale, by Margaret Atwood) on which it is based is outstanding.

Think it's Hulu only in US but on Channel 4 in U.K. Breaks every 15 minutes for adverts however have really helped to galvanise my opinion in subscription based TV. When you reach a climatic point in an episode then you suddenly have a **** commercial for Macdonalds/beer/perfume/freemium mobile war app it is really jarring.

What night does it broadcast on Channel 4?

Are you watching this show on Hulu?

No UK so Channel 4 on terrestrial TV. Only up to episode three. I hope they don't plan to extend this over any more than about 4 seasons as I'm not sure My mind could take that much dystopia of this level. Such absorbing TV.
I'd watch it if I did not have to subscribe to another streaming service. :(

I just finished watching last night. Final episode on Hulu. Amazing. The whole thing was upsetting, unsettling and had a feeling of truth to it. Remarkable how that is. We have nothing like that NOW but with the political climate like it is you can easily imagine. Terrifying. Well done. Looking forward to season two.
