Dumb question, is there a way to have intercom between homes?
Do I have to set up a VPN between the houses so it looks like they are on the same network?

I just tested intercom and it actually works, so not a direct replacement for walkie talkie.

hi, a quick question. is it mandatory to have 2 HomePod mini to enable intercom or can I use it with just one.

also, can I send the intercom message while I am on cellular? I mean, when I am outside and ask some one to be ready downstairs to collect the groceries?
