Well - I personally have some weird anatomy making in-ear solutions sound worse than over-ear solutions. I currently use an over-ear solution when cycling but this means I can't have both - protection with a helmet and decent sound. So actually color me interested as I have a use case for this product.

Nevertheless what is really holding me back is the glasses themselves not going transparent in darker conditions. I do a lot of cycling in dusk or later. So this kills the product for me.

I tried them out for a few minutes and I would definitely buy them. I used to lifeguard, so would have been nice. We can't wear headphones because we need to be able to hear people, but these allowed the best of being in the world while providing it a killer soundtrack. Kind of like augmented reality for your ears! Bose, there's your tagline! I only demand a 5% royalty, lol.

I've used the Bose Sport version of these sunglasses many times while cycling and really love them. The sound is amazingly clear and the quality is far better than I would have thought. They enable me to hear everything around me while still enjoying music or audiobooks on those long rides where you are looking for a distraction. I feel perfectly safe with cars around me, as I can hear them coming from behind with no problem. The actual sunglasses themselves work fine - the polarization is excellent. I also use these when going for a run or walk - they stay secure to my head and don't bounce around or produce that 'thud' sound you hear sometimes in your ear when wearing in-ear headphones. They connect easily to both my Iphone and Apple Watch for those concerned about Apple connectivity. I typically get around 6 hours of use out of full charge.

I'd highly recommend these to anyone who wants good sound while still being able to hear their surroundings. These would probably be great for skiing for those in colder climates...
Can you correlate your experience some for me for two questions?

I have used both AirPods and AirPods Pro while cycling. With the AirPods and the volume somewhat low, I feel like the fact they don't block my ear entirely means I can still hear pretty well. The Pro's I am less of a fan of, even with transparency mode.

Q1: Have you tried cycling with the regular AirPods and do you find the Bose glasses to be substantially better in terms of safety/audio?

Q2: My main reason for not looking at these before was due to night riding. The highest VLT lens I could find, only offers a 70% transmission rate which means that I can only ride with them near dusk, but after that they wouldn't work. Since I live in the PNW often times I am riding at night. Have you found a workaround for this type of issue or are you only riding during the day?

I'll stick with my Persol 714SMs and my AirPod Pros I think.

I've never found a pair of sunglasses (and I have a LOT) that gave me such a comfortable level of light plus the experience of quality and I don't really see it as compelling to combine the two when my AirPods are easily carried in the watch pocket of my jeans.

These are great except for how do you clean them after a workout? They are not waterproof
I can’t think of a single scenario why somebody would use these for a work out (Maybe walking at the most). I would think these just would be more like your ‘every day’ travel glasses for casual use, but to actually wear them for running or any type of physical activities where these fall and break?

I would love to see an AirGlass from Apple
Features: Audio Spatial, Siri, Unlocking iPhone/Macbook (like an Apple Watch, it can unlock if you r wearing it despite of having a mask!)
Made in aluminium, existing in space grey, silver, black, white, pacific blue and red
It can be charge through Magsafe!

I remember seeing these before, thought about getting one, but I'm not sure I'd use them to make calls in public. I mean, if people seeing you walking around talking without earphones or anything they'd probably assume you were crazy.

Ok if you built a career around doing Roy Orbison impressions

Awful design compared to what I use, also...Ray Ban...really, pay a lot of money for crap shades.

I used Cebe for a long time until it was taken over by an investment company and eventually went the way of the dodo, I now use Julbo race 2.0, fantastic shades but a bit pricy compared to what I paid for Cebe's back than.
These shades will not easily break, are superior compared to brand like Ray Ban and cheaper.
All of my shades are photochromatic, high impact resistant, scratch resistant, UV filters, Oleo filters and more.

As for the Bose shades, Dan looks awful wearing these, but, sound might be good, not my taste though, too pricy and way too big.

For those you would consider driving in those please know that many states including California, Ohio and others prohibit using headsets in both ears while driving. It maybe impossible for the police to spot those as a headset but it is still illegal in many places.

Surprisingly, the majority of the states have no prohibitions whatsoever. Not really sure it would be an issue in many other states either, including California. The Tenor sunglasses don't go in the ear or over the ear. Most of the prohibitions specifically ban over-ear and in-ear headphones.

Not being snarky, but I don't get the point. I am sure that the quality is good, and I am sure that there is same use case here and there, but what's the point for the larger population?
I'm not a headphone person. I don't like not being able to hear whats going on around me.
During the pandemic I've found it increasingly annoying when my girlfriend walks into the room I'm working in and I have no idea she's wearing headphones. I say something to her, only to get no reply.

Obviously these wouldn't work in this use-case because of the tinted lenses, but for anyone outdoors who still wants to listen to music but not get whacked by a bus they couldn't hear, these are for them. Like aftershokz but for music.
