That would require you to use the iTunes Store app (which I don't). So that's a step backward from how the Shazam app works now

If you ask Siri, the song is saved to a list in the iTunes Store app (top right corner menu). I assume the same would be the case here.

This isn't a very useful location to store a list of songs you'd like to play in Apple Music, especially since Apple is trying very hard to push people away from iTunes and onto their streaming service. Shazam links requested songs to a playlist you can play right from Apple Music and it's super convenient.

Good question! I just tried it, and I had to click on the notification (which opens Shazam) then click "add to library". It wasn't automatic. Pity.forums.macrumors.com
