I keep hoping a software update will fix the issue... 🤞🏻Mine had a hard hang when I flipped to ethernet.
Ofc, I'm running 14.0 beta, so I'm not complaining.

Here. Please add verbosity: crashing an app? Machine crash? Reboot spontaneously? Need detail. Are there any M2 Pro Mac Mini users on MacRumors that are not having crashing while the machine sleeps overnight?
Thanks, the whole machine crashing. I’ll amend my post. I try to keep my posts short, and sometimes, like now, it’s to my detriment… ✌🏻Here. Please add verbosity: crashing an app? Machine crash? Reboot spontaneously? Need detail.
I didn’t realize there was a mini forum. I found it and reposted it there. Thanks! 🙏🏼You might want to post this on the mini forum. Probably some users over there that don't check the News forum regularly.
Hi, mine seems fine. Are there any M2 Pro Mac Mini users on MacRumors that are not having the whole computer crash & reboot while the machine sleeps overnight? Anyone here with an M2 Pro Mac Mini that’s been running for months without the machine crashing & needing a reboot? Thanks! 🙏🏼
I wanted to provide an update ... I found that once I stopped using Google Chrome the overnight crashing problems I was having have so for not reoccurred. (btw, before stopping to use Chrome I uninstalled and reinstalled ... didn't help.)Hope others are having better luck with their M2 Mac Mini Pro than I am ... often (3-5 times/week) instead of going to sleep (or while asleep, I guess) it turns itself off, requiring a manual reboot. The machine knows it shut down unexpectedly and I've forwarded its reports to Apple often. Not doing anything particular that should challenge this equipment. It certainly requires a restart far more often than my 2017 iMac ever did. This unit has 512 SSD and 32 GB RAM.
What plugins in Chrome do you have?I wanted to provide an update ... I found that once I stopped using Google Chrome the overnight crashing problems I was having have so for not reoccurred. (btw, before stopping to use Chrome I uninstalled and reinstalled ... didn't help.)
Update to my update: the crashing problems without Chrome came back. To recap: most typically if I put the MacMini to sleep at night when I tried to resume work in the morning it would be non-responsive and require a reboot. However sometimes it would appear to be ok. I say appear ok b.c. I was unable to run YouTube videos (just not start) and I was unable to play music (actually any sound) from any output despite Sound settings indicating all was ok. Now trying a new tactic: I've set the MacMini to automatically shutdown at 2AM and restart at 8AM. So far this is working well.I wanted to provide an update ...
