USB-C right angle adapter. Bought this to keep a small hub from hanging loose from my 12.9" iPP but it's also nice to keep the charging cable from sticking out. And it's only $5.39.

Thanks! Your suggestion got me thinking that I needed this, but did not have a cable long enough which where my hub would completely rest on the desk without hanging at least a little bit. So I ordered this cable that will be waiting for me today when I arrive home:

No reviews on Amazon but I'll see how it goes. I couldn't find any "name brand" cables with a right angle male at one end and a female usb c port on the other end.

Please report back on how well it works. I was interested in the same kind of thing for a hub but saw lots of reviews on similar products that said users were having data connectivity issues.

I used the cable I linked above 5-6 times this weekend and so far, so good! It does take a little longer for drives to show up in the Files app on iPadOS 13 compared to directly connecting the device but that makes sense I guess. I'd say maybe around 5 seconds longer... I used it with my Samsung T5 external SSD, my Sandisk card reader, and also with my Anker powered hub with USB C power, a micro SD card and two external drives plugged in. It was charging the iPad and I could use all the drives. I didn't notice any additional speed lag once connected.

The cable is thicker than most of my USB C cables. I'm not sure how long it will keep up I like attaching my hub on the end of it so it doesn't feel like the iPad is covered with accessories; everything is out of the way of my direct work area.
