iPhone Handydialer issue

Was working fine prior to the update on 12-28-14.

Now getting a FC every time I open the dialer.

Anyone else ?
Suggestions of an alternate ?

iPhone 6 on 8.1 here, no issues with it. Got it this morning for the first time so I'm on the latest version
