I find chewing plenty of chewing gum is good for getting rid of that sick feeling when you first wake up. Doesn't do much for headaches though.....

You can't always face it but getting up and out for some fresh air does wonders too..

Well there are many things that people do to remove a hangover, i have tried many and i can say the best thing to do depends on when you want to remove it.

Before sleep:

1- Drink 1-2 glass's of water before you sleep. This helps but dose not remove it.
2- Have something to eat before you sleep. This make a difference but you wont be able to wast every time you want to drink or else you will gain lots.
3- Drink water between drinks. Drink a glass of water every other beer or when its needed.

When you wake up:

1- A nice cold shower followed by salts drink. I am not sure what the exacte name it but it a powder that has lots of salts and minerals.
2- Water, some water and more water. This helps but normally it takes 5-6 hours.
3- Bloody Marry with no vodka. I found this to be very helpful and i would recommend it a lot.

There are also tablets that you can take before you go to bed that does a really good job. I tryed them but i cant remember the name and i have stoped using them for some time but they did really work.

there s a pill called hang over i belibve it is, but you take it before you go out so before yu start drinking...

I've never had a hangover so I couldn't say as to whether this works or not (and yes, I've been falling down drunk on many occasions), but I've heard that a shot of whatever you were drinking last night, a bottle of Gatorade, and 3 aspirin work wonders.

As I write, I am exhausted but not hung over. By rights I should be, but with a magical combination of water, exedrin, sweet food, and exercise, I'm feeling good.

Last night was a bit of a wild party. I won't go into details but there are pictures that will never, ever, be put on myspace. Anyway, for every shot and/or beer I drank, I drank one glass of water (actually more like 10 gulps out of the sink faucet, which is approx. a glass), made sure to pee often, and then had another glass for good measure. I didn't fall asleep until 5:45am, and I woke up at 7:00am (had to get home for mothers day) I popped a few exedrin, had two more glasses of water, a few bites of frosted flakes, then I drove over to Starbucks. I got a triple shot latte, drank that, then headed home. I took an hour long nap, cooked my mom breakfast, ate with her, then went for a long bikeride.

The result of that epic tale is that I don't have a hangover. Not sure if it was the combination or just the water or what, but all of those things working together seemed to do the trick.

besides drinking the obvious water before the night and after

before going to bed: eat something, especially something with fat and the rest easy to digest (save the whole grain + fiber for the non party days)
i once eat a good sized white bread with bacon, cheese and mayo before going to bed: the next morning 7 hours later i felt nothing and i wasn't able to stand when i went to bed

after: 1 Apple (especially those green ones with lots of acid) and you will suddenly feel 30times better since apples essentially contains everything which helps: acid (very important), water, vitamins and gives the stomach something different to do
sure orange juice can do the same but and apple is easier on the stomach and it removes the bad taste in mouth (which helps a lot)

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hangover#Causes

basically a hangover is dehydration among other things.

i always try to down a couple of pints of water at the last bar before we leave, then when back home have as much more water and some food (bread or something to soak it up - CHEESE IS GOOD as the fats stop the booze, eating this before you go out will keep off the effects of alcohol also) as possible.

If convienient brush teeth before i go to sleep (this or gum as i hate the horribe feeling in the mouth the morning after and it makes you feel a lot more fresh).
then in the morning try to have some food and more water or orange juce, but normally i feel fine in the morning if ive had water the night before.

i work on the priciple that hangover is dehydration, so if you load your body up with water before you go to sleep it will process the water. works great as well cause you normally don need a pee.

sorry for the longwinded expanation

I've heard of a concoction called the 'Prairie Dog'. Not sure of the exact ingredients though

For me;

Gatorade before bed, and a Gatorade for when you wake up during the night, and perhaps another G'rade for the morning.

Hydrate, hydrate, hydrate. Zero hang over.
