Happy April Fools' Day 2015: HiRise Toast, Pets Unleashed and More

These jokes were being prepared, but were deemed too ridiculous:

  • Apple releases laptop with just one port.
  • Apple releases 42mm watch with plastic band for $12000. Leather band is $5000 extra.

Would be better if the improved wood-watch now came with more wood, and less watch... :). That wood sure will look all shiny and pretty for months. All it will need is a bit of oil once in a while. I want the leadwood version... (a very rare, very expensive wood)

I'm sure they made it chainsaw compatible, that's the important spec after all.

That toaster iMac stand is actually not a bad idea! I wish it wasn't an April fools prank. :( :p
 
I actually have one of those Apple Watches! Never been worn. I should probably get it out, change the battery, and wear it around when the new ones come out. :cool:

reminds me of those coffee warmers u can plug into usb to rest your mug on to keep it hot. (which do exist)

I find the tone in the Tesla joke digs a little more as an attack than a lighthearted joke. Almost like they're saying the Apple Watch itself is a joke. Which is a joke :D.

Tesla must be preeeety annoyed with Apple right now over the car rumors and Apple snagging a lot of their talent. What's wrong, it's ok for Tesla to hunt down every Apple employee they can get, but they get upset when Apple does the same?
