I already posted this in another Steve Jobs' birthday thread, but I wonder if his cake will look like this?

(Just pretend the 40 is a 51)

Happy Birthday to both Steve and MR!
and that it reads "steve" instead of "tony" ;)

I had a really funny pic that said "I didn't know what to get you for your Birthday, so here's a bunny with a pancake on it's head", but now I can't find it. Ah well, Happy Birthday anyway.

Couldn't find the birthday one, but I think is what you mean :)

Ugh. I hate it when some nitwit at work comes up to me with a birthday card "I have to sign" for some other nitwit I don't know.

And now here I am, trying to sign a birthday card for a website.

So, let's see.

There's "Happy Birthday," but everyone always says that.

I could do the pancake bunny, but looks like someone already did that about an hour ago.

Maybe I should make some other kind of "in joke" -- the kind of joke that's just between MR and me, like "Remember that time I kept compulsively hitting new posts so I didn't have to grade that next paper?" But, ugh. Inside jokes, you know?

I could say "Hope all of your wishes come true," so if MR is smart it will know I'm being ironic, and if MR is stupid it will think I'm being nice ... that seems to cover all the bases. Unless MR is smart enough to know that I'm trying to dupe stupid people ...

Crap.

"Happy Birthday MR! Terry in the English Department."

God I hate signing these things ...

Happy Birthday to both Steve and MR. Collectively advising me of, and providing me with, the products to empty my wallet since Jan 2005.

Oooh! I just realized I can go across the street to the Beverly Center Apple Store!

I see we're in the same neighborhood. You know, it amazes me that there is a store at the Beverly Center and one at the Grove. That's like six blocks from one Apple Store to the next. I use the one at the Grove (I work behind the Grove). How much business does the Beverly Center Store do?

It's my birthday too.... ;-P

And I've got the money for a MBP! If only the Apple Stores will get some in stock today my wife and I will be buying one later today (*crosses fingers*).

Unfortunately we didn't have enough to pre-order at the time and are avoiding credit altogether until our wedding bill is paid off completely... ah but it's still exciting to know I'll be getting one soon.

Also the wonderful wife got me a 30in. HD Cinema for Christmas so I'll be Mac'ing in style in a very short while!

So, Happy Birthday Steve-o, I'll be thinking of you when I'm at the Apple store later today.

And happy b-day MacRumors... you've given me lots of joy over the last few years...

p.s. Anyone know if there are any b-day specials at Apple stores?

Well it just goes to show, all the best people have their birthdays in February ;) :D

Happy Birthday MacRumors!

Well it just goes to show, all the best people have their birthdays in February

I thought all the best people have their birthdays in June? Or atleast that is when I have mine :p

Happy birthday Steve and MacRumors.

..and for the Texas History buffs like myself, today in 1836 Travis sent his message asking for help in defending the Alamo. Ending the message with "Victory for Death" :p

Live long and Prosper

Quite a bit. The BC store is usually pretty busy, though not nearly as packed as the grove (I stopped going there on a regular basis for that reason).
I now split my time between Northrige and BC, sometimes visiting the pasadena or 3rd street ones (if Im in the area)
Thats like six or seven stores within driving distance (counting Century city and Fashion square)!!!!

How did I miss this thread? Regardless, Happy Birthday to MacRumors, one of my favorite sites on the entire IntraWeb! :D

(Oh, and Steve too, however I assume he's probabaly already pretty happy... ;))

Tp?

I live not even 20 minutes from Steve's house. Do you think I should TP it tonight?
