Congrats on your SSD---I am curious as to know how much of a difference it makes. Assuming you used to have a spinner in your PBG4, maybe you should try doing some kind of comparison test.

I posted some benchmarks in the other thread. It works great and is dead silent and was cheaper than an mSATA adapter. That being said, I think for something like a top of the line iBook or DLSD PowerBook I would go with an mSATA SSD.

What size of SSD? And amen to that second part... ;)

It is a 32 GB model.

Ah, yeah. I don't think these things will get cheaper over time, but hopefully they do. Currently I don't really feel like putting the money into it myself. Maybe someday though... the one I am getting soon shall go in a newer computer.
