Personally, i cant see why everyone celebrates st patrick's day. He is the Irish Patron Saint and gets more publicity and celebration than St George's Day (I'm English).
Also i dont drink so i cant see what all the fuss is about

(goes to closet and picks out the sweatshirt with the green embroidery)

I'm not planning any St. Patrick's Day celebration here myself, but I sure am not going to get PINCHED!

Happy Saint Patrick's Day to those of you who celebrate it and Happy Saturday to the rest of you!

:D

Saint Patty's day is a pre-party for the real deal: my birthday!

I dunno if this thread is alive enough for me to be asking this, but...

If someone is wearing barely any green so that it's not apparent (i.e. anything covered by clothing), should they be pinched?

Fret not, we'll just put our Saint celebrating pints on hold until April 23.

Also i dont drink...
Ah, maybe not then. I'll have one for you in that case. ;)

Yesterday in the pub I was confronted by the sight of a table of English Rugby Union supporters with cloaks made out of the Irish tricolour, wearing promotional Guinness hats and sinking pints of the black stuff while shrieking 'Happy Saint Patrick's Day!" to anyone who ventured near. They're a funny lot, those eggchasers...
