Haptic almost gone?

Today I noticed that the haptic on my trackpad has gone really, really soft. It was working previously, and still clicks properly, but I can barely feel or hear it. Any suggestions without having to take it into the Apple Store?

Have you checked the settings for it?

Yeah, sometimes it feels a bit weak, but then comes back. I think it's just me getting used to it.

Just as an update, now it's back and twice as loud as it originally was. Very odd lol.

BTW, have you noticed that you can Force Touch anywhere on the workspace but never on the Menu bar?

Oooh. Weird. I really want that to be an Easter egg but I bet it's probably just a bug.
