Hey. Hopefully someone can add some insight. I have a fairly new iPhone 7 (2 weeks old). It is currently up to date (running iOS 10.1.1).
Lately, I have noticed that 3D Touch would sometimes not be accompanied by the haptic feedback as it should. Regardless of what I attempt to 3D Touch, even if it is in the settings to adjust the strength of the touch sensitivity. Toggling the System Haptics on and off does not seem to work. The only fix is a hard restart.
My home button feedback works fine, and so does my notifications. I'm wondering if anyone has experienced this? Maybe an app is causing this issue? Or could iOS 10.1.1 bug? I cant imagine it being a hardware error, but please correct me if I'm wrong. I searched the forums for similar issues, but I didn't find anything (or I guess I failed to). Thanks for the advice.

Has happened to me to multiple times on my 7+. I think it's a bug in iOS 10 so I didn't think much of it. Hopefully it'll be fixed soon

Thanks for the response. I guess I'll reboot every once in a while. Hope 10.2 fixes the issue.

I'm having this issue on my 7+ and I'm running the latest iOS that was released today. Anyone still having this issue?

It has never happened for me. Your devices could be defective.

I thought that. But the haptic engine works fine otherwise. A hard reset does well to fix it. I'm thinking it's software or app related. I could be completely wrong.

Has never happened to me; although I am pretty certain yours are all software issues rather than hardware, since well, it works. Just not always.
