Hard Disk Locked - Deleted all systems

Hi,

i did bootcamp today and it somehow partitioned both my windows and mac (it deleted the mac partition and completely became windows) and now whenever i turn it on it boots directly into Disk utilities and i can't partition or first aid it (it says "Hard disk is locked") and is greyed out, i have the OS on a USB but i don't know where to go from here as i technically dont have ANY operating system when i hold option and try to boot into windows it says NO OPERATING SYSTEM INSTALLED

Can you option key boot to the USB installer?

From there you should be able to use Disk Util to erase the disk and reinstall the OS.

it seems like the entire harddrive is locked to a mac osx with no operating system, i can't make any other partitions theres no room

I followed your steps, i'd just like to say thank you, you've made my missus really happy being able to fix the old mac, thank you so much again.
