Hey, I was just wondering if someone could please help me.

Last night I was using my macbook when it froze - I restarted using the on/off button and it started to boot, there was a startup chine but instead of showing an apple I got a flashing question folder. I've re-started a million times, tried the disk utility on the OSX install DVDs but It won't repair the damage. When I try to re-install from the DVDs [using C when TRYING to start up] it doesn't show the hard disk to install to.

Thanks for any help with this, Ben

Thanks for your help :]
But would I not be able to erase everything using disk utility and re-install OS X?
Also, I was going to upgrade to 100-120gb soon anyways - If i did would that be okay?
I've got my files backed up through iDisk so thats not a prob
