Hello all!
So my 2008 Aluminum body Macbook has been having some issues lately. It has been really slow and eventually started making noises-it sounds like it's trying to start dial up internet. So, along with the help of a friend, I deduced that this was a problem of the hard drive. I bought a new hard drive and am prepared to install it, but have come across a problem. The single Phillips screw securing the hard drive bracket to the upper case will not unscrew (even though I am using the Phillips 00 size screw driver, as that is the size given). I am not sure what to do. I may have stripped the screw.
Does anyone have any advice or suggestions? I am attaching photos.
Thank you!
