Hi

Im hoping someone can help me with my laptop. I have noticed that the harddrive no longer appears on the desktop even though it is set to in preferences - I have reset preferences logged in and out run disk utility - tried most things besides reinstall the hard drive.

I am also having problems with airport - even though it is on it decides when it wants to connect to a network (I have two macs and have no problems with this one) some days it decides to connect no problems and other days it cannot see any network even though the network is set for it to work

Does any one know whats wrong with my machine - it is running 10.4.1

thanks heaps

L

Did you mean it's running 10.4.10? If it's running 10.4.1 I would recommend connecting it directly to your cable modem/dsl router and getting the updates to get it up to 10.4.10.

Also, what kind of macs are we talking about here?

Hi

Sorry - I meant 10.4.10

The one I am having trouble with is a MacBook Pro (17-inch 2.4GHz)

I have also noticed that when I move my mouse every couple of seconds it sticks and then jumps position
