Have to thought about formating the hard drive with the disk utility?;)

I would love to but how do I do that when it does show up anywhere...all I get is my start-up disk...

Once you get your installer disk loaded, then look in your menu at the top of the screen and you will find the disk utility under one of the columns. Once the disk utility loads, then you should see your drive you need to format. Once formated, then you should see the drive and then install/upgrade the software and etc.
