Hello,

I currently have an ibook G4, which is broken, Basically the screen folded flat and has broken all the wires. So now the screen just lights up blank. I also have a macbook and i need to retrieve the photos from my ibook to my macbook. How is this possible... Please help

With the casing most likely broke, as well as some cables and possibly the inverter/logic board as well, then I would suggest you pull out your screw driver!

Orrrrr, since the machine still boots up, start it up holding down the "T" key to boot it up into Target Disk Mode. Since you can't see the screen, hold it down for about 30 seconds. It shouldn't take longer unless that iBook was a slow booter to begin with.

Then, plug in a FireWire cable from it to your other MacBook, and wait at least 10 minutes (only would take that long if something is wrong). Hopefully that iBooks internal harddrive will register on the MB's desktop, and you'll be able to navigate through and pull off whatever you want.
