When my mac pro comes i want to get 2 150gb WD Raptor drives does anyone have any experience with these drives? are they worth the money for the speed? and how loud are they? thanks

I hear that they are barely faster, if not slower, than the 1TB drives out now due to the platter density. I have also heard that they are very loud although I don't have one to confirm this first hand.

read the same thing. I read that the WD 750gb drives are quite speedy as well as the newere 750 gb drives from segate. You would have to ask yourself if the price premium is worth dropping all that extra storage space.
