Hard Drive Questions

Most of my 3.5" drives are IDE, although I have one or two that are SATA, making the Universal Drive Adapter the best for being usable for any drive I own, but being more complicated. Oh, and if I do get that, is it a good idea to get this too? Sorry that I'm not particularly knowledgeable about hard drives or good at making decisions :eek:
