    Hi,

I have my internal hard drives listed in the finder sidebar at the bottom, but everytime i login, they also appear half way up the sidebar again,

anyone know how to stop these appearing?

    thanks

For each of the drives listed, one appears on the list of connected devices at the bottom. The second appearance, higher up, is under your Favorites. If you don't want those, hold the command key down and drag them off the sidebar and they will disappear.

yes, thats my point, I'm tired of having to hold command and drag them out every time i login.

Can i just make them stop appearing totally higher up?

    at the bottom is fine.

Try right click / remove from side bar.

If this still does not work, you might have to trash the ~/Library/Preferences/com.apple.sidebarlists.plist file.

Then log out / login back. The side bar will be the default one.
