Bought this case after reading this post. Pouch cases aren't for everyone, but if you like them, this case is perfect. This is the best and most useful case I have ever purchased for a phone. Needless to say, I love it. The ability to use as a stand on my desk is so nice. I also sit up in bed a lot at night and watch HBO or Showtime programs and using this case to hold the phone in landscape is perfect. The case is slim and easily fits in my pocket. My search is over.

When I first received mine I thought the stand was a gimmick, but I actually use it occasionally and it comes in very handy. I love this case more every day. It has become my wallet, I no longer carry a traditional wallet. The little pocket under the flap holds a credit card, drivers license, cash and business cards.

Does it fit in your pocket ok? I'm thinking of one of these or the usual Orbino case

It fits in my jeans fine, although its taller than a normal wallet so it sticks out further (thats for the 6 Plus). I carry it in my back pocket. It won't fit in front pocket comfortably.

I am sorry to report that I can't recommend this case anymore. I had to stop using mine. The long fibers of the inner material is getting stuck between the glass edges of my iPhone. I'm bummed because I spent a lot of money and I really liked the case. I wish they had used micro fiber instead of the felt.

Can the OP confirm?

been using the case everyday since it arrived...no issues here.

Would you mind to post some pictures of the case? Also, more feedbacks about the inner material please, it is not clear if it is a problem or not.

I just received some hard graft accessories and I like them. Did you try to use the all in one with a slim case like caudabe or shimuri? I know it is a slim fit, but I am really worried about scrathes and the possibility to drop the phone.

EDIT: after a little of brainstorming I am really tempted by the combination of the caudabe veil and this case. Please, tell me how it works if you have both!

Its no problem for me, I use the case everyday and have no issues. I can't imagine what the other poster has experienced, the wool on the inside is pretty dense on my case, and has remained that way thru daily use. I take the phone in and out literally dozens and dozens of times a day.

I wish Hard Graft would make a case that attaches /snaps on the iPhone like the Vaja ones do… would definitely buy it. Their stuff is great, just don't personally care for the bag / pouch style.

I completely agree. I'll never do a pouch style. It totally defeats the purpose for me. I certainly wouldn't mind more options for a standard leather case style.

Or they could craft a version that fits an iphone with a case...
It would be useful for when I travel and the built in stand is really smart.

Hi @digitalfx I'm thinking of getting either this case or a similar by HG which does not have the buttons. I'm curious about the snap, how hard to you have to press? Can you close them with a slight one finger push or do you need to apply some force?

Thanks

What's the use case for a pouch style case? I see a lot of talk around some of them and the high end makers seem to lean towards pouch.

I don't think I'm the target market but I'm curious what the typical user wants out of this case. I. Always grabbing wallet and phone but I'm usually accessing the phone and think pulling it out of pouch a lot would be annoying. Thanks.

For me its about protection whilst not compromising the experience of the hardware design itself. The iPhone is such a well designed piece of luxury hardware I don't want to hold a case, I want to hold and interact with the phone. Pouch cases offer a nice balance between having a case and still being able to experience the phone's look and feel how it was meant to.

You don't need to press the buttons hard at all, they are just right I think. You can close them with one finger easily.

On top of what .clicky mentioned, I'll have to say that, yes it is somewhat cumbersome to take your phone out of a pouch and use it while out and about. I'd use a case if I'd know I'd have to take my phone out a lot. I personally am not a person who is always texting and nobody but my parents calls me. So except for maps and switching playlists I don't use my phone for anything else while walking.
