0 011 macrumors member Nov 5, 2017 #2 1. Press the Volume Up button and then release, followed quickly by pressing and releasing the Volume Down button. 2. Now quickly press and hold the Side button until you see the device’s screen turn off, followed by Apple logo showing up on the device. 3. For iPhone 7 line of phones it's holding the lock/sleep (side) button and pressing the volume button down simultaneously until the phone restarts.
